Q: What is Smart Routing?
Spreedly Smart Routing is a beta feature that leverages Spreedly’s data to improve authorization rates by reducing false declines for participating merchants. This provides a better experience for buyers and increases top line revenue. Additionally, it reduces costs and time to market by freeing up engineering resources, making it easier to support a custom payment orchestration layer. Q: How much does Smart Routing Cost?
Customers may use Smart Routing at no additional cost during the beta period.
Q: Do I have to use Smart Routing for all my transactions?
No. You may use Smart Routing for a portion of your transactions if you choose. You can determine which transactions to send to either service.
Q: How often is the gateway success rate updated?
Gateway success rates are updated in near-real time using a rolling window of recent aggregated transactions to deliver a timely, relevant recommendation.
Q: Are retried transactions counted in success rate calculations, or are they idempotent?
Customer-retried transaction attempts are considered individual transactions and do affect success rate metrics.

Q: Does Smart Routing directly support 3DS2 transactions?
Smart Routing will not support 3DS2 during the beta period. You may send transactions that don’t require Secure Customer Authentication (SCA) to the Smart Routing endpoints.
Q: Are PMD endpoints supported in Smart Routing Beta?
No, at this time Smart Routing does not support PMD endpoints.
