Transactions going through API without CVV??
AnsweredI am using the JavaScript API. Against a test gateway, it seems we are able to create tokens using a blank CVV field without the error event handler firing. Is this a bug or expected behavior?

Hi David,
Thanks for posting!
Yes, it's expected to have no error message in this situation, because Spreedly doesn't require the CVV. We don't require it because many payment gateways don't need the CVV for transaction processing.
However, if your gateway does expect CVV, they'll send Spreedly back an error for an empty CVV field in your payment form, we'll map it to you.
