Is Spreedly creating an account at Wepay for the user in the Oauth account creation process? https://docs.spreedly.com/payment-gateways/wepay/#wepay-oauth-account-creation

We would want this to be the merchants account.

  Hi there,

  Spreedly is not creating the WePay user account in this scenario. Let me try to clarify and summarize the steps needed for you: 

  1. With your merchant, follow WePay's Oauth guide. If you have any questions on this specific process you will want to direct them to WePay.
  2. With the access_token you received from WePay during the Oauth process, use that to create a Spreedly gateway instance for the merchant as seen in the gateway call here: https://docs.spreedly.com/payment-gateways/wepay/#wepay-oauth-account-creation

  From Spreedly's perspective, the only difference between creating your own Spreedly WePay instance and creating one for your merchant is that you are passing the access_token in the latter.
