CVV Error with Braintree

Good morning, 

We recently started receiving this error:
"CVV is required. (81706)"

Do you have any suggestions?

  Hi Yvette,

  Happy to help here! CVV is not typically required for transactions; however, many gateways provide the option to require it in your account settings. It looks like the April 21 post in our changelog should help answer all your questions about the changes here specific to Braintree. When in doubt, it best to contact the gateway as Spreedly does not have visibility into merchant accounts at the gateway level.
