Spreedly's commitment to Level 2 and Level 3 Processing
AnsweredDoes Spreedly has something planned to support Level 2 and Level 3 processing? See an introduction about this topic here: https://www.bluepay.com/payment-processing/gateway/level-3/
For Level 2, I don't see how we can pass Tax Amount and Customer Number (PO Number) to Spreedly so Spreedly can then pass Level 2 information to the gateway that supports Level 2 processing.
I'd like to know Spreedly's plan for this to gauge Spreedly's priority in working with updated Gateway API that starts to embrace Level 2 processing such as Bluepay above, or Sage Payment (https://support.sagepayments.com/link/portal/20000/20000/Article/992/Data-required-to-process-Level-2-and-Level-3-purchasing-cards, or Cybersource (https://support.cybersource.com/cybskb/index?page=content&id=C821&actp=LIST).
For us, knowing Spreedly's plan may play into our long term decision on whether to stay with Spreedly or to move on to a more progressive tokenization provider.

Hi Paul,
We currently have a few one-off
gateway_specific_fieldson various gateways for customers that have requested in support of level 2/3 data. If the fields you're interested in aren't on our gateway guides, then we would be happy to consider adding them.We are also open to considering a more involved blanket solution in the future if we see an increasing need, however, it's not on our roadmap at the moment.
It looks like our team is currently reviewing some updates for you on one gateway in order to support this so just let us know if you'd like to move forward with any other gateways and we'd be happy to review!
