Does Spreedly support their customers' customers?
Spreedly can only support our direct customers as Spreedly has 100's of direct customers, many of which are marketplaces and platforms which have 100's or even 1000's of merchants on their platforms. What that equates to is more than 10,000 merchants that interact with our platform via our direct customers.
Occassionally, a customer of a customer comes to Spreedly for support. We cannot provide support for two main reasons:
- Support is a cost of providing our service. We staff, and therefore price, our service around the assumption we have 100's, not 10,000+, customers. We would need to charge exponentially more for our service if we were to support our customer's customers.
- Terms of Service: Our customer's have legal agreements with us, either via our website terms of service or a custom annual agreement. We have no agreement in place with our customer's customers. We cannot provide services, particularly for a service involving highly secure data like credit cards, without an agreement in place.
