P2PE hardware
Not plannedCurious to hear if you've made any further progress with p2pe hardware. We have customers who would like to do physical swipe/dip transactions but we really, really would like to avoid doing gateway-specific integration within our product to accommodate them. Spreedly has been a godsend for web payments but the real world beckons.
If you were to roll out hardware for this purpose we'd be extremely interested in incorporating it - and equally interested in suggesting a few implementation details (hit 2 gateways from one stored token, allow input of a reference # that would identify the customer, webhooks are a must-have) that would make integration between a web app and payments accepted via hardware a bit easier to do.

Hi Steve,
This is a topic that comes up fairly frequently, however it's not something we're actively looking at. It has a lot of PCI implications so it would be a pretty big challenge to implement and get approved by our QSA.
We may eventually want to support it, but only where we are decrypting and tokenizing it. We keep track of requests, so if our intention to support it changes or gets expedited, we'd likely update this post as well as push an update to our changelog once it's live.
