Congratulations on signing up for Advanced Vault and taking your vault to the next level with a managed vault that combines core vaulting, lifecycle functionality, and data enrichment of payment methods with rules and best practices.
Enabling Advanced Vault:
1. Log in to your account: https://app.spreedly.com/
2. Navigate to the account drop-down bar, found at the top-right-hand side of the page, and click on Organization settings
3. In the Organization settings tab, toggle on the "Allow Advanced Vault at environment level". Next, toggle on "Account Updater".
- If you intend to manage Account Updater per environment, toggle on the "Allow Account Updater at environment level".
- Click “Save changes”.
Next, you'll need to enable your desired environment(s). Environments are defaulted to off, so you must select the environment(s) you want to enable.
4. Navigate to the Environment settings tab in the account drop-down.
5. Edit Environment Settings:
-
Toggle on the "Advanced Vault" and "Account Updater" as desired per environment(s)
Alternatively, you can complete it via the API: Spreedly API v1 Reference
- If multiple environments will be enabled, navigate to the “View all environments” tab to repeat steps 4 & 5, as needed.
- Click “Save changes”.
Note: If you have payment methods stored in your environment(s) that should not be enrolled in Advanced Vault, you may elect to unenroll the payment methods using a non-billable API call by following the steps in our Advanced Vault Developer Docs.
Now, let's make sure you have all your additional features enabled.
Account Updater (AU):
- There are two options available to enable:
- Organization level
- Environment(s) level
- If you choose the organization level, you’ll toggle on Account Updater under your Organization tab, and you’re all set.
- If you choose to enable it at the environment level, you may select the same environment(s) as Advanced Vault, or switch it up!
- Note: If you have payment methods stored in your environment(s) that should not be enrolled in Account Updater, you may elect to unenroll the payment methods using a non-billable API call by following the steps in our developer docs.
- Click “Save changes”.
Network Tokenization (NT):
- In filling out this form: Spreedly Advanced Vault Form, we will begin the process of obtaining your TRIDs.
- For planning purposes, anticipate availability within 3 weeks, as some networks may take longer than others to assign this value.
Data Enrichment:
- Enriching Payment Methods with BIN Metadata and Payment Account Reference (PAR - coming soon) for advanced decision-making, fraud prevention, and customer loyalty tracking.
