There are three distinct 3DS2 use cases available at Spreedly: 3DS2 Global, 3DS2 Gateway Specific, and Third Party 3DS2. This module will guide you to the best solution for your organization.

1. 3DS2 Global - Spreedly's Recommended Option for Payment Orchestration
3DS2 Global offers a unified integration across many of the gateways we support. With this solution, you can send 3DS2 authentications directly to our connected 3DS server. The authentication results can be used at any gateway that supports third-party 3DS2 authentications.
This approach is ideal for organizations looking for flexibility and global reach, as it allows you to use the same integration for multiple gateways.
2. 3DS2 Gateway Specific
3DS2 Gateway Specific involves authenticating directly against a specific gateway's 3DS2 server. This solution is useful if you are transacting with a particular gateway and wish to leverage their 3DS2 server for those transactions.
However, one limitation of this approach is that the authentication results can only be used with the specific gateway you are authenticating with, limiting its flexibility in multi-gateway setups.
3. Third Party 3DS2
If you have an external 3DS2 authentication provider, Spreedly’s Third Party 3DS2 solution allows you to pass externally obtained 3DS2 authentication data values in a normal transaction to a supported gateway.
